by Jonathan Mercer

Want to learn how to get rid of acne fast? You’ll be surprised to know that you can actually get rid of all that acne in just 2 days time! All you need is to follow the right intense acne treatment routine and follow it on the dot for two straight days.

You will start your routine by taking an oil-free cleansing solution made up of 2% Salicylic acid. In a circular motion, massage the solution around your face until it’s all covered. Once you’re done, wash your face water.

Take some exfoliating scrub that contains some Salicylic acid and apply a small amount on your face which is still damp from the rinsing. Rub it on your face while focusing on the acne infected areas. Allow the scrub to stay on you for about two minutes and then wash your face and pat it dry.

Using the Salicylic acid apply some on your face and give more focus to the pimples. Let the solution dry on your face and let it stay there for the rest of the day. This will allow the solution to go deep into your pores and start treating your acne.

When you get back home or after your day’s work you can wash your face and apply the Salicylic acid anew and rinse and dry. Put some calamine lotion on those Q-tips and apply them around the acne lesions on your face. This will help reduce the redness of your skin due to acne. Let the solution stay on your face overnight.

The next day, wash off the calamine and repeat the steps above. But instead of using calamine lotion at the end of the second day, use apple cider vinegar and 1-2 drops of tea tree essential oils and apply them to the pimples on your face. Let it dry before you sleep and let it stay overnight. Just follow these steps on how to get rid of acne fast and by the next day your face should be acne-free or at least have had a significant reduction on acne.

Acnezine Treatment Review

by Jonathan Mercer

Want to know more about the Acnezine? Perhaps you are having a problem making a choice with all the anti-acne products all over the market. But this Acnezine treatment review will help you make that decision. Acnezine is not a product to be mistaken like any other ordinary anti-acne product. On the contrary, Acnezine is a carefully formulated facial skin care system that aimed to not only attacking acne, but help prevent outbreaks that may happen in the future as well. Prevention is equally important to treating acne because there are so many products out there that promise to cure all the acne that you have but they don’t assure that acne won’t come back in a few days. This can be a problem to most users of other products because they will end up being frustrated with their efforts.

You will learn through this Acnezine treatment review how the product works. Acnezine actually prevents bacteria from forming and going into the skin. When hair follicles in our skin are blocked, sebum - the natural oil that our skin produces to keep skin from drying and prevent infection - gets stuck up in these areas, which becomes the breeding ground for this type of bacteria. Nobody really knows why these follicles get clogged up or why it’s even part of one’s puberty, but fact is that it happens.

But aside from getting rid of acne, Acnezine is composed of natural ingredients that are good for your skin. These nutrients prevent those free radicals that are responsible for the acne on your skin. It also helps get rid of the redness around your skin as well as soothe inflammations that may occur in your body as response to the acne.

By using Acnezine twice a day, this Acnezine treatment review has found that you not only restore your skin to its acne-free beauty but you also keep your skin refreshed and healthy throughout the healing process. Plus, you also get the chance to be able to try out two months worth of acne treatment by visiting their website. Also, the price for the regular products is cheaper considering the amazing effects of Acnezine. You even get to save as much as $120 in purchase if you buy their larger packages compared to the smaller ones.

Acne Treatment Products Explained

Tuesday, June 9th, 2009
by Fran Anderson

The large number of over the counter acne products available in drugstores can make choosing the right product for you a confusing exercise. Every product promises essentially the same thing: to help clear up your skin. But there are many different brands, types of products and approaches for fighting acne. Some products are quite similar to each other and some are one of a kind. Examining the most widely available types of products will help you choose the best one for you.

Acne creams that are applied topically up to three times per day are among the most popular and widely available acne products. They are sold under various brand names such as Clearasil, they usually contain benzoyl peroxide and they are generally effective at treating existing pimples or acne.

Acne soaps, rinses and washes are another type of acne product. They are available almost everywhere and are promoted quite heavily. In terms of active ingredients, many contain mild concentrations of salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. If you apply such a product and then immediately rinse it off, you may not get much benefit from its use. You may wish to use soaps or rinses in conjunction with another product such as a cream or leave it on your face a bit longer before washing it off.

Exfoliation is a type of treatment that removes dead skin cells from the surface of your skin. Exfoliants are products such as scrubs or hard sponges that when used properly get rid of dead skin cells. Some exfoliants claim to help prevent breakouts, but they can be harsh and irritate your skin so beware if your skin is sensitive.

Medicated facial masks are yet another form of over the counter acne product available. Masks may contain all-natural ingredients like green tea and/or established acne fighting ingredients such as benzoyl peroxide. They are often more costly than simple creams. You may also find it time consuming and impractical to apply a mask to treat acne on a regular basis.

So called pore strips that are stuck to the face then pulled off are another type of skin care product available in most drugstores. They claim to lift dirt, dead skin and unclog pores. While you can see the results in the form of dead skin and blackheads stuck to the adhesive strip after use, whether or not they are more effective than a bar of soap or a simple acne cream is debatable.

The selection of over-the-counter acne products for home use is dizzying. The easiest and often less expensive option is to avoid products that seem too good to be true, make excessive claims or carry an exceedingly high price tag. If you intend to fight acne yourself without the aid of a dermatologist, then buy a product containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, both of which have been proven effective over time. Consult your pharmacist or doctor for a product recommendation or if you are unsure about a particular product’s suitability for you.

Buying Acne Remedies Over the Counter

Friday, June 5th, 2009
by Fran Anderson

When it comes to getting rid of acne, there is an abundance of products available over the counter that pledge to do just that. With so many choices available at your local shop, it can be extremely difficult to select the right acne fighting product. Some products may irritate your skin or be less effective than others for your specific skin type. Some contain similar ingredients and most make similar claims. This article will help you choose the most effective product for your acne and help you avoid wasting your money on an inappropriate treatment.

Topical creams or gels are one of the most popular types of acne products. Most of these products include benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid among their ingredients. If you are going to treat your own acne using over-the-counter products instead of seeing a dermatologist, these are likely to be effective and straightforward to use.

Products designed to exfoliate are often marketed as being effective in preventing acne. These products work by actually rubbing dead skin cells off the surface of your skin and can be irritating to your skin. Exfoliants can cause redness and irritation so they are not a very good choice for people with sensitive skin. Exfoliants appear on store shelves under many names and in many forms such as scrubs, masks, pads or sponges.

Facial masks make up another category of product designed to clear skin and treat acne. Masks can aid in the cleansing of your skin and in the removal of dead skin cells. These products can contain active chemical ingredients such as benzoyl peroxide or be comprised of all natural ingredients. Facial masks tend to cost more than other acne products so using them more than occasionally may not be very practical.

Adhesive skin cleansing strips, commonly referred to as pore cleansing strips, are another form of product used to clear up your skin. They stick to your skin and are pulled off taking blackheads and dead skin cells with them. I have used them in the past and while they do remove dirt and dead skin, I felt a bit silly using them and they hurt a little when removing. Pore cleansing strips seem a bit gimmicky to me and I get similar results from creams or soaps containing benzoyl peroxide so they are not something I continued using.

Treating Your Acne With A Natural Acne Treatment

Thursday, June 4th, 2009
by Jonathan Mercer

The largest organ of the body that helps other organs in removing waste is the skin, which is often affected by acne for which many people choose to get natural acne treatment in a bid to remove the problem. Diet too plays an important part in removing acne as it helps in doing away with waste so that your skin does not have an outbreak of acne.

One of the best natural acne treatment plans that you can use is your diet. If your diet has less oil and waste for the skin to eliminate, you will find that there is less acne. For those who are looking for a way to reduce the amount of outbreaks on their skin, finding a good diet that is low in fat and high in fruits and vegetables will help a great deal.

The Best Treatment Is Prevention

Prevention is certainly better than cure, and to protect the skin, there are a number of natural acne treatments to consider including exercising, being careful of the makeup products used, staying hygienic, shaving to exfoliate and remove dry skin as well as not being overly stressed out.

Exercise is one of the best things that you can do to prevent your skin from breaking out. When the body sweats, it will release some of the toxins in your body through your skin. The sweat will clean out the pores and keep them from being clogged with bacteria and dirt. Make sure that you use cosmetics that will not clog your pores. Cleaning the skin of your makeup everyday is one of the best natural acne treatment steps that you can take. Putting cosmetics on the skin is one of the ways that the pores will become clogged so make sure that you are using a high quality makeup that will not cause your skin any problems.

A very simple as well as obvious natural acne treatment is no doubt being hygienic. You should care for your personal hygiene and this means washing yourself daily; exfoliating as well as astringents will help you fight acne. By washing sufficiently, you will be able to open the pores as well as eliminate oils and thus prevent acne.

Shaving is another way that the skin can be exfoliated. When the dead skin is removed it will take with it the layers of impurities and dirt that have been built up on the skin. This will also allow the air to get in to the pores and they will be given the opportunity to breathe.

Removing stress from your mental makeup is another natural acne treatment because a person with high amount of stress is most prone to acne outbreaks. After all, the skin is only a reflection of your inner being and by using these simple yet effective natural acne treatments they should see you being able to deal with the problem effectively as well as painlessly.

Acne and Skin Care

Pimples, black heads, white heads, reddish bumpy splotches - you got ACNE! But of course you don’t want it and you need to get rid of it. After all, you can’t look and feel your best if what you see in the mirror make you cringe. You need to get rid of your acne and you need to do it now, but how?

Well, believe it or not, getting rid of acne can be very simple and that is what we are going to cover in this brief article. Now I am aware that there are some cases of acne that are severe and they need more intensive treatment. If that is the case for you, there are many websites out there (including mine) that have more in-depth information for getting rid of severe acne.

Now, on to basic acne treatment. Acne treatment really comes down to cleanliness. But “I take a shower everyday” you say…and that’s great, I recommend you keep that up, but it is a little more involved than that. Cleanliness involves several different areas that need to be addressed, especially if you are suffering from acne.

The first part is “cleanliness of your diet.” What? Yes, an “unclean” and unhealthy diet can certainly lead to acne. Taking this step to clean up your diet will not only benefit you by reducing acne, but your health overall. You should eat lots of fruits and vegetables, and limit the processed foods. Did you really think that pizza and those potato chips you ate would have no effect on your acne? Wrong! Start your overall acne battle by cleaning up your diet.

The second part (certainly easier than the first part) is taking a shower. If you are experiencing severe acne, take a shower before you go to bed and when you wake up…if your acne is not that severe, take morning showers. You sweat a lot during the night and oils are secreted (eew!) while you sleep. You need to get these off of you! The soap you use should be hypo-alergenic and can be geared towards acne treatment, but this is not a necessity - just make sure it is oil free and mild.

Third, you need to keep your “stuff” clean. What stuff? You need to keep your clothes and your bedding clean…especially your pillow case. I know you probably don’t live in a hotel where you can get your bedding changed daily, but you need to be proactiv and change or wash your pillow cases often. Once every three days or less is preferable. Just think about it - every night you put your face on that pillow, your are rubbing the dirt and oils from your face onto your pillow, and then back onto your face - gross! So wash, or change your pillow cases every couple of days and your bedding at least once a week…and wash your clothes frequently too - your friends will thank you.

Fourth, use a facial cleanser throughout the day. Use a mild, oil-free, and water soluble cleanser to keep you face clean and fresh. This may be a pain, but you can get a small bottle (like a travel size) to keep you cleanser in and a zip-lock bag to keep your disposable applicators in. If you wear make-up, remove it when you don’t really need - like when you get home. Make-up can clog the pores and lead to acne.

This is really all you need to do to begin your battle against acne. For most people, this will work, but I do understand that some people have more severe cases. For those that need additional help, you can visit my website.

The classic blackheads are not dirt, they are the result of oils and dead cells getting trapped in the pore. Blocking the duct and mixing with bacteria to cause inflammation. When exposed to air they oxidize and turn black then the red pimples develop when blackheads become inflamed and of course they will spread when touched with dirty hands. When pimples becomes infected, the whitehead or pustule develops they can then break and result in scaring. Such is the cycle that one has to deal with.
