Treating cystic acne can be a difficult problem. While everyday pimples are bad enough to tackle, treating cystic acne is a whole different ballpark. This form of acne can be painful and lead to scars (both physical and emotional).

Unfortunately there is no one simple acne cure treatment for cystic acne, unlike for whiteheads and blackheads. In fact, those with severe cases often times need to see a doctor or dermatologist for severe acne treatment.

So what are the causes of cystic acne? It’s important to under this before searching for an effective treatment. This type of skin disease is usually due to an overproduction of oil in the glands causing whiteheads to appear on the skin’s surface while pustules form underneath the skin’s outer layer.

Unfortunately by the time that happens it’s too late, the pores are blocked by the irritation, leaving the residuals under the skin. Thus, It’s not surprising then that most superficial acne skin products alone are not enough to help treat this condition. In some cases you may need a prescription such as antibiotics for acne.

The One Homemade Acne Remedy You Need To Know To Get Clear

Wednesday, May 27th, 2009
by Felix Schmieder

There’s only one homemade acne remedy that works and I wish I had learned about it years ago before I wasted all my money on those creams and gels. I was never one who got bad breakouts during my teen aged years and my parents assured me that the minor ones I did get would go away by themselves.

A few years later not only was my acne still around, but it was also getting worse. I tried a ton of acne medications and I even tried some homemade acne remedy treatments that worked pretty well, but couldn’t keep me clear.

The medications never worked well for me. They always left my face itchy and dry, yet it was somehow still oily on top of that. Homemade acne remedy masks and facials worked far better because they were much gentler on my skin, but they still could never completely cure me. I was tired of dealing with acne breakouts and just wanted them gone.

That’s when I started reading about more holistic treatments. Acne itself isn’t a skin problem; it actually starts deeper inside your body. Acne is just a symptom that there is something unbalanced inside your system.

What causes that imbalance?

The foods we eat are the root cause. The diets that we eat each and every day are full of so much junk like sugar, starches and hydrogenated oils while it neglects several important vitamins and minerals. This huge disparity leads to to many toxins in our system and they in turn drive our hormones out of whack.

Almost like what happens teens during puberty.

These hormones are what cause our acne and that’s why anything you put on your face can never cure you. The best homemade acne remedy is to start eating a healthier diet and drinking more water. You’ll bring your body back into balance and see amazing results in a short time.

Homemade Acne Remedy - The Quick Acne Cure Secret They Don’t Want You To Know

I wish I knew about the best homemade acne remedy before I threw hundreds of dollars down the drain. I never got bad acne as a teenager in high school. Oh sure, I had a few minor breakouts, but nothing I ever worried about. My parents assured me it was natural and would go away, so it was never a big deal.

Thankfully, holistic treatments began to make themselves known to me at this time. I found out that acne doesn’t start at your skin, it actually starts inside your body. Breakouts are just your body trying to alert you to an imbalance inside you.

What causes that imbalance?

Said plainly, it’s from the food we eat. The western style diet has far, far to many sugars, starches and hydrogenated oils while lacking important vitamins and minerals. This poor diet causes toxins to build up in our systems and causes hormones to cause breakouts.

Similar to what happens to use during our teen years.

The hormones running rampant in your system are whats causing your acne and that’s why treatments on your skin will never cure you. The only homemade acne remedy that works is to change your diet and eat healthier and drink a lot of water. This will have your body back into balance in no time and you’ll see your skin clear up naturally.

One Of The Most Effective Homemade Acne Treatments: Baking Soda For Acne

Tuesday, April 7th, 2009
by Felix Schmieder

One of my favorite homemade acne treatments is to use baking soda for acne. It’s very quick, it’s effective and it’s super cheap. This is great for controlling any breakouts you have.

For the first ingredient, look no further than the bathroom sink. No, not under it! I’m talking about regular old water. You don’t need mountain spring water imported from the mountains in Tibet, plain tap water will work just fine.

Hopefully you already know that the second ingredient is baking soda. What? You don’t know what baking soda is? It’s that yellow box that mom puts in the fridge to keep it from smelling up the house. You also used it to make volcanoes when you were a kid.

This is one of my favorite homemade acne treatments because the price can’t be beat and it’s pretty darn awesome at controlling acne. You may want to use apple cider vinegar in an effort to keep the pH of your skin balanced, but I’ve used it without it and I’ve had great results.

I’m assuming that if you’ve read this far, you’ve already gained all the necessary skills to apply this to your face. All you have to do is mix up a little bit of the baking soda for acne and some water. Then just apply it to your face. While some homemade acne treatments require that you leave it on for the maximum benefit, you can rinse this off as soon as you’ve finished applying it. For best results, just let it sit for about a minute and you’re good to go.

That’s all there is! Baking soda for acne, like all other homemade acne treatments, is super cheap. One box will run you a whopping dollar. Take the other $39 dollars you would have spent on a useless cream and do whatever you like with it.

Just remember that baking soda for acne and other homemade acne treatments can never cure you of your acne, they can only help control breakouts. Acne begins with problems inside of your body and acne is just the physical representation of those problems.

To truly be free of your acne problems, you have to avoid trigger foods and other causes that cause your body to go haywire. Some of the more common triggers are vegetable oil, processed flours, and red meats. A body in need will tell you by causing acne. When you pay attention to those needs, you will finally be free of acne.

Homemade Acne Treatments Work Better And Are Cheaper Than Conventional Medicine.

Sunday, March 22nd, 2009

I got acne around the typical time young people do. I was about halfway through high school. I could never get it to go away but I clung to hope because my parents told me it would fade as I grew older. Imagine my dismay as not only did my acne stick around, but it also got worse.

Naturally, I’ve always tried out new products. Benzoyl Peroxide, salicylic acid, the proactiv system, none of them worked that well for me. I really started to research this whole acne problem to try and figure out a cure.

What I found was a lot of people were having great success with homemade acne treatments. Who would have though cheap items that you could find around the house would work so well? I was really psyched to try all of them out at the same time.

I eventually decided to keep my cool and only followed the recipes I found online. Like with the normal medications, some worked well and others didn’t work at all. But now I didn’t care if they didn’t work well because instead of $50, I had only spent $5. I was aving money and discovering new ways to clear my face.

On top of not wasting my money anymore, I was also not using harsh chemicals on my face. My skin wasn’t always clear, but it stopped being dull and actually looked really good. Ever since I noticed that, I’ve sworn off conventional medications. They never made me all that clear and they made my skin look like crap on top of it.

So by now you want some homemade acne treatments to use on your face. There are so many it might get a little overwhelming. Try using baking soda to exfoliate any dead skin cells, then follow up with egg whites to smooth the skin and egg yolks to fade away blemishes and other marks you might have.

If these suggestions seem a little crazy for you, then try these easy and quick homemade acne treatments. The first is to make a toner out of lemon juice mixed with water. Just splash it on your face after you’ve cleaned it and it will clean out your pores and it will wash away any extra soap that’s still on your face. This may sting a bit so make sure you dilute it.

The other that works well is using aspirin as a mask. Aspirin is essentially salicylic acid and it helps clear pores while fading existing blemishes. All you need is about 3 tablets. Put them in a cup, sprinkle some water on and smush them up with a stick. You want the resulting paste to be pretty thick, so I emphasize that you sprinkle water on. Leave the resulting mask on your face for about 10-15 minutes and rinse off thoroughly.
